This is the
SM-Marks 2 Site licence update download page. Schools
licensed to use
SM-Marks 2 can download this file and install it, to ensure they have
the most recent version of the program. You should only install this
update over an existing licensed copy of SM-Marks 2.
The file is approximately 1.2 MB and could take a few minutes to
download
over a slow internet connection.

Before installation
- This
update is only for schools with a Site licence. If you have
a single licence you should click
here.
- Making
a backup of your current markbooks is
recommended.
- Be
sure you know the folder where SM-Marks 2 is already
installed.
- This
update assumes there is a valid Smmarks2.key
file in the
destination folder.
Installing the SM-Marks 2 Update
To update SM-Marks 2 on your computer, do the following steps:
- Copy
the
downloaded file into the folder with the SM-Marks 2 program.
- Unzip
the contents of the file Smk2upd150408.zip
into the same folder.
To do step 2 you can use your preferred Zip file utility, or if you
have never done this before you can use the Compressed Folders feature
built into Windows to unzip the update. Here are the steps to follow:

In the SM-Marks 2 program folder, right click on the Smk2upd150408.zip file.

Choose the Extract all command to show the Compressed
Folders Extraction wizard.

Choose the Next button.

Check that the Destination is your SM-Marks 2 folder.

Choose the Next button

Choose the Finish button.
After
installation
- To
check that the update is successfully installed, run
SM-Marks 2 and choose the Help|About command to confirm that the date
shown is 15th April 2008.
