Why after installing the SM-Marks update does the program indicate
that it is a Trial copy?
SM-Marks requires a file named register.key which must be in
the same folder as the program. This file includes the licence name and
if the file is absent or damaged, SM-Marks will operate as trial
version.
If it has been a while since your last update to SM-Marks you may not
already have a valid register.key file. In this case you can
get the required file from SMPCS for free provided you are a licensed
school or user. This file can be copied into the folder with the
program at any time to make SM-Marks recognise that it is licensed.
