
The list below describes what has been changed in SM-Reports with each
update. If your copy is not the latest, you can determine what has been
added to the program by reading from the top until you reach the date
shown in the Help|About command of the copy you are
using now.
In general, when a new feature is added the date is changed, otherwise
when a change enhances or fixes an existing feature the letter appended
to the date is changed.

Released
SM-Reports (32 bit). This is the Windows Vista/XP upgrade to the
program and is a significant upgrade. If your school is licensed to use
SM-Reports you will have received more information about it by fax.
Fixed the File|Import|School data command to import all student given names when importing from a TCWINDOW.TXT file.
Fixed the Tools|Synchronise work files command which in rare cases would show an error message and not synchronise a work file.
Fixed the Summary print option of the Print|Reports command to work in all cases.
Fixed the SM-Reports Work File program which was not updating the Statement box when the cell is changed in the grid.

Changed the File|New command so when work files are made
for all teachers, teachers without a class in the year get a work file
as well. This makes it easier to later use the Tools|Synchronise work file command if the teacher then needs to have a work file for the year.
Changed the Help file to a new system with a better format.
Added the Use long file names option to the File|New command.
Added example templates that illustrate the Template Script to the Help.
Improved the Print|Reports command to automatically convert the numbers from 1 to 5 into letter grades from A to E when the Count distribution option is turned on for a strand in the Report|Definition command.
Improved the File|Import absences command of the SM-Reports Work File program to convert the hyphen, "-', into a zero, "0".
Improved the content of the Help to improve the accuracy and usefulness.

Added the new Print|Subjects in year command which
not only has the
list of subjects in the year but also lists the numbers of classes and
students with the subject.
Added the Set Bounds feature to the Report|Definition Details.
When you
right click on a field in the Report|Definition
command you can now
bring up a dialogue that allows you to set the expected information to
be entered into a work file. Note teachers need to have their copy of
the SM-Reports Work File program updated for this to work.
When the SM-Reports Work File program prompts to make a backup you now
have a choice of any drive to backup to. This is especially useful for
the users of USB/Thumb drives.
The SM-Reports Work File program can now read marks from markbooks
created with SM-Marks 2.
Fixed an internal bug in the SM-Reports Work File program that
sometimes results in the number of characters allowed for a statement
not being accurately set when a work file is used by a year adviser.
