What can we say? If you have read The Pitch, then
you already know we have an inflated view of SM-Timetable. Considerable effort
has gone into the design of SM-Timetable to make it easy to use and reliable.
We are confident that for day to day use nothing beats SM-Timetable for convenience
and usefulness.
Getting, viewing and printing class lists and timetables probably couldn't
be simpler. Changing details and adding new information is also just as straightforward.
Constructing a timetable is always going to be hard work. The construction
of a timetable is what is called an intractable computing problem, so it is
impossible to ever guarantee a perfect solution. In this regard SM-Timetable
may or may not be better that other timetabling software - it all depends
on many factors which will vary from school to school.
